Characters - Niwa Emiko

Niwa Emiko is the somewhat disturbingly ever-genki and hyperactive mother of Niwa Daisuke and is the one who's behind all of Dark's funky costumes. She's the one who actually sends out most of the warnings or heralds, and seems to have been quite a beauty when she was, ah, younger. I wonder if she knows that she most definitely does NOT act her age, but that's her appeal.

Emiko actively urges Daisuke to confess to the girl he has a crush on, is absolutely head-over-heels in love with her husband Niwa Kosuke (it's so cute XD) and the artwork that Dark steals. -_-a

But behind the cheery and hyperactive surface, there's a girl who suffered through her childhood. Emiko's mother died when Emiko was very young. Now, along with the guilt that she took her father's most beloved person away from him (which she actually didn't, but you know how psychology works) AND the fact that only the Niwa males can become Dark, little Emiko started feeling desperate - eventually she decided that no matter what, she'll have a son in the future. The reason is simple - she didn't want to have a girl and make that child feel as weak and useless as she did in the past. ._.
